Yishmerekha ke'ishon (May He protect you as the apple of His Eye)

Author: Yehuda Attia. There are two lehanim in this piyyut.The first is sung in every strophe except the fifth, in which the second lahan is sung. The first lahan includes four musical units that correspond to the four verses of the strophe. The melodic structure is: a-b-c-d. The second lahan also contains four units which correspond to the four verses. Melodic structure of the second lahan: e-f-e-f.
