From Yiddish: Itzik Nakhmen Gottesman; first published in the album "Six Cradle Songs" put out by Hersh Segal, (Czernowitz: Hornik, 1939). First recorded, with other songs by Barditshever, by Arie Leybish-Laish, an actor of Romanian origin, in 1967 in Tel Aviv.
