A dance-song performed at weddings. The dance movements follow the acts described in the text: sift of flour (v. 1-2), stepping into the sea (v. 3) and thus learning to dance (v. 4). (v. 3-4 serve as refrain after each strophe.) Further on: sowing (v. 5-6), planting (v. 9-10), cutting (v. 13- 14), harvesting (v. 17-18), carrying (v. 21-22), dessicating (v. 25-26), grounding (v. 29-30), preparing bread (v. 33-34), eating (v. 37-38).
