The first and second headings written probably by Lurie are not the exact incipits of the original text in Judeo-Persian, but a very brief summary in Hebrew of the meaning of the text. This medley consists of four units. The first one is a typical Judeo-Persian song with a refrain praising prophet Moses: "Qorbaan-e mim o-shin o-he" means "[may I be the] sacrifice [of the Hebrew letters] M, SH, H [spelling the Hebrew name of Moses, Moshe]. It is followed by a typical Judeo-Persian wedding song where each stanza ends with the word "Israel". The correct text of the third song in this recording is Yiftah Adonai libi ba-Torah (May the Lord open my heart to the Torah). The medley closes with a return to the opening unit.
