The following sound clip is an excerpt from an interview between head JMRC researcher Yakov Mazor and Boyan Hassid Akiva Zalman Brilant on the topic of Hasidic niggunim and early Zionist pioneer songs. The three minute excerpt includes a short reference to the Hava Nagila niggun, in addition to several other Sadigora niggunim that Brilant claims were brought by pioneers (chalutzim) to Palestine. He notes the presence of Hashomer Hatzair, the Zionist movement, within the Sadigora community, and speaks briefly about the centers of settlement of Sadigorer Hasidim in Palestine.
