Yoshev tehillot (He who sits in praise)

Author: Joseph Siton. This piyyut is the only one in the Baqqashot whose lahan is in maqam Kurd. The lahan consists of six musical units, each one corresponding to a verse of a strophe. Units five and six are a repetition of the third and fourth verses of the strophe. Melodic structure: a-b-c-d-c-d.
