10a. Bar Yohai: Sabah

Author: Shimon ben Lavi. In all the strophes apart from nos. 7, 8, and 9 the lahan is sung by the congregation. It consists of two musical units that are repeated twice and correspond to the four verses of the strophe. The structure of the lahan is: a-b-a-b. The introduction is repeated as refrain and includes units a-b. In strophes 7, 8, and 9 an improvisatory lahan, sung by solo singers in the first part of the first and third verse in each strophe, is added to the original one.
