At Adamah Be-Lev Midbar

A song of longing for the regeneration of the Negev desert, written in 1946 by Arieh Yehieli (1922-1947) and set to a Bedouin folk tune. A hybrid of the rhythmical Tafilalt piyut style and the Bedoine tune. The melody eventually deveolps into a canon, creating a surprising rhythmical effect.
