Moses’ Blessing to the Tribe of Reuben (Deuteronomy)

Dr. Reuven Kiwi’s 80th birthday celebration took place on Saturday night, February 28, 1959, at the home of his daughter, Dr. Edith Gerson-Kiwi, with family and guests in attendance. The event opened with a live performance by Cantor Yaakov Huri, featuring a selection of cantorial pieces, including the Havdalah blessing, a passage from Moses’ blessing to the tribe of Reuben (Deuteronomy), excerpts from Psalms, and a few piyyutim in honor of the occasion.
