Ezra Aharon (composer, singer, ud) and Mounira Hawazwaz perform the Iraqi dialogue song, “Khuntini” (“You Betrayed Me”), in maqam bayat. Originally recorded in Iraq around 1933 and re-recorded in Aharon’s home using a microphone from a ’78 record player, transferred to tape 12B, item 1. His Master’s Voice G.D. 196 0Z81-0Z82.
Track 13 is a continuation of Track 12, featuring the second side of the original recording (’78 record).
