Born in Konigsberg, Germany, and immigrated to Palestine in 1934. Took part in Israel's musical life as a violinist in the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra and in different string quartets, and also as director of the Jerusalem Academy of Music. Composed in a conservative, tonal style.
