David Conway is an Honorary Research Associate at the Department of Hebrew and Jewish Studies, University College, and was a Polonsky Visiting Fellow at the Oxford Seminar in Advanced Jewish Studies in 2019-20. His publications include Jewry in Music: Entry to the Profession from the Enlightenment to Richard Wagner (Cambridge University Press, 2012). He is a member of the editorial board of the magazine Jewish Renaissance and Chair of the London opera company HGO.
