M.A. Musicology, The Hebrew University, thesis: Contemporary Cantillation of the Book of Esther according to the Ashkenazi Custom in Israel - Tradition of Deviations. PhD student at the Hebrew University, working on the formation of the contemporary Ashkenazi liturgical Tradition in Israel. Taught Jewish music at the Academy of Music and Dance in Jerusalem and at the Open University. Current research interests: Music of the Ashkenazi synagogue - Biblical cantillation, traditional nussah and contemporary developments within this tradition - in Israel.

Project manager of the Legacy Heritage Digitization Project of the National Sound Archive, at the National Library in Jerusalem, and coordinator of the Ashkenaz Research Group of the Jewish Music Research Centre.
