In collaboration with the National Council of Jewish Women, Cohon authored Introduction to Jewish Music in Eight Illustrated Lectures, a foundational text whose second edition was released in 1923. This work served as a cornerstone for the Council’s music education initiatives for nearly three decades.
Cohon also partnered with renowned musicologist A.Z. Idelssohn to produce Harvest Festivals: A Children’s Succoth Celebration.
Her legacy is preserved in the American Jewish Archives in Cincinnati, which holds her papers and music manuscripts.
