Music of the Jews in the Diaspora (up to 1800)

A collection of essays on various topics on the music of the Jews in various times and places. It is a chronological sequel to Sendrey 1969. In spite of the vast bibliographical knowledge that the author amassed, the book lacks a connecting thread and like most of its kind, is disproportionate in the amount of attention given to each subject, and contains many factual errors.
