Piyyut of Sephardi origin, sung in the Italian rite in Siena, on the Eve of Simhat Torah. The structure of this festive melody shows similarities with the Central Italian folk repertoire. This poem appears in the collection Divre shirah hanomarim beleil simhat torah (Livorno, 1780) along with the texts of tracks 31 and 32.
