Bā’alā Maṣalat (Sukkoth). Soloist: Qes Rahamim

A prayer from the morning services for holidays, except for the first and last days of Fāsika and for the last day of Bā’alā Maṣalat. It is a simplified and shorter version of one of the last prayers for ‘Āstaseryo. It is also based on Psalm 136 but does not include many other Biblical references.

The melody of this prayer is specific to Bā’alā Maṣalat. It greatly resembles the melody of Nǝgru lǝ’egzi’abǝḥer (CD 1, no. 2) but here it is performed in the hemiola pattern rather than antiphonally.
