Omer Dancing at Ramat Yochanan

Produced by Norman Lourie and Joseph Krumbgold

This Zionist film documents the Omer festival at kibbutz Ramat Yohanan. This festival, shortly before Passover, celebrates the harvest. The images of the film are of workers in the field and of the dancing celebrations and rights in honor of this holiday. The soundtrack is comprised of interspersed appearances of Israeli folk songs, like Shibolet B'Sadeh and Shir HaTenufah, along with religious singing from the torah about the rights of the Omer festival.
