Nehemia Allony

Alloni was a researcher in the fields of Jewish studies, literature, language and Hebrew poetry in the Middle Ages, founder and director of the Institute of Microfilmed Hebrew Manuscripts (1950 - 1963), served as a professor at Ben-Gurion University in the Department of Hebrew Literature. Alloni won the Bialik Prize for Hebrew literature (1970).
