Directed by Stephen L. Sharff
This short film depicts a tourist traveling through Israel and the various off-the-beaten-track experiences that he has as he is guided through the land by a young boy. One of the last scenes depicts a Bucharian traditional dance known as the Dance of the Bartered Bride. It is a pantomime dance that portrays a marriage bargain. The music accompanying this scene is the song BeBuchara HaYaffa (In Beautiful Buchara). The melody to this song is based on a traditional Bucharan dance melody while the lyrics were written by the Israeli song writer Haim Hefer.
