Based on recordings of services in the Copenhagen synagogue done back in 1967, this book presents the history of Jewish life in Denmark (mainly Copenhagen) and of music in the Copenhagen synagogue, and analises how the music reflects the special integrative character of that community.

The Musical Realization of Biblical cantilation symbols (teamim) in the Jewish Yemenite Tradition

The article deals with the Torah reading of the Yemenites Jews of San'a and examines the structure and function of six teamim melodies used in the prayers (Torah Reading), when learning the Torah and by children in the Heder.
