Music in Kabbalistic Writtings
Data base of kabbalistic texts, mostly from the medieval Iberian Peninsula and Southern France that contain references to music, musical thought and terminology, and musical practice. This collection of sources is part of the project on music in Kabbalah literature initiated by Moshe Idel as part of the JMRC’s Inventory of Jewish Music Sources. It started with the publication of Music Texts in the Zohar. The work has been continued intermittently by Yuval de Malach and Shoshana Liessmann.
