The image above is Joseph Rumshinsky's (1881-1956) piano arrangement of Goldfaden's Tsvey Kuni Lemel released by the New York Hebrew Publishing Company. The production of Yiddish theater piano scores was a great source of income for music publishers. Patrons of the Yiddish theater collected and performed such piano reductions at home and at communal events.
