Cantor and composer

Cantor and composer. Born in Ukraine. Studied music in Berdichev, Odessa and St. Petersburg. In 1887 began officiating as cantor in Rostov, and stayed there for 25 years. Known for his two volume collection of his own compositions published in 1897 and 1904.
