Shlomo Carlebach

Rabbi, composer and performer. Shlomo Carlebach was born in Berlin, Germany. In 1939, he moved to the U.S. where he began his music career. Carlebach is considered by many to be the foremost Jewish religious songwriter. He recorded over 25 albums, composed up to 5,000 songs, and performed all around the world.
