Born in Tel Aviv, Israel. She began her studies at the Music Teachers' Seminary in Tel Aviv (1959) and Oranim Seminar (1960-1962) while receiving and private composition lessons with Yehezkiel Braun. She studied Law at Tel Aviv University (1964, 1976-1980), and also studied at the Rubin Academy of Music in Tel Aviv (1976-1980). Her works include chamber, orchestral, and vocal music. Her music explores themes from the Bible, Hebrew poetry, Kabbalistic poetry, and Japanese poetry. Her compositions have been performed by a variety of orchestras in Israel.
